Dear Mr. LUI & Ms. YEUNG
Dear Mr. LUI & Ms. YEUNG 🤵♂️👰♀️🤵♂️👰♀️
Hello!
My name is Arikawa, the representative of Eggfilm.
Thank you so much for considering our studio all the way from Hong Kong! We are truly grateful. ✨
If you decide to come for the shoot, our entire team will do our absolute best to make it an unforgettable experience for both of you.
I understand that you have visited Japan several times, so you may already know how to research hotels, food, hot springs, and transportation on your own. However, if you ever need any recommendations or local advice, please feel free to ask our team anytime!
Thank you again for reaching out to us.

Now, we would like to discuss the core details regarding your photo shoot.
In fact, shooting with 4 to 5 traditional Japanese outfits is the largest number of kimonos we have ever prepared in our 15-year history.
(Normally, our clients wear 1 or 2 outfits.)
Because this is a brand-new experience for us, we want to make sure you have the best possible memories. After carefully considering the shooting schedule and costume management, we have a few important points to discuss with you. 🙇♂️
It is a slightly long message, but these are very important details, so we would truly appreciate it if you could read through to the end.
① Number of Outfits
In Japan, there are various traditional clothes such as “yukata” and casual “kimono,”
but traditional bridal kimonos place a far heavier physical burden on the body than any of these.
To make sure you enjoy the photo shoot comfortably and at a safe pace, 4 outfits (2 outfits each day) will be the most reassuring schedule. 👘
② Reserving Your Selected Outfits & Our Policy on Rescheduling / Cancellation
First, here are the 4 traditional outfits you have selected↓
↑All 4 of these pieces are exceptionally popular in our studio, to the point where they cannot be worn without reserving them in advance.
(We are truly impressed by your great taste! 👁️✨)
Usually, reserving specific outfits in advance requires a holding fee of 20,000 JPY per outfit, but we would be delighted to waive this fee and provide this reservation free of charge as a special courtesy for you.
However, because bridal kimonos require extensive professional maintenance (specialized cleaning and detailed preparation) before and after each shoot,
booking these means we must block each outfit for a total of about 10 days.
↑During this period, we must decline all other rental requests for these pieces, which means turning away up to 8 other couples.
That means reserving the outfits isn’t just for the day of the shoot itself, right?
And in your case, since you would like to hold up to 4 outfits, it means holding all 4 of these highly sought-after pieces for a full 10-day period.
As a studio, we would honestly be so thrilled to see you wear these 4 wonderful pieces! 😭✨
However, if the shoot were to be postponed or canceled due to personal reasons…
Because we will have declined all other bookings for these dates, it would inevitably have a major operational impact on our studio.
With that in mind, we would like to consult with you and suggest the following two options 🧐
Please tap Plan A or Plan B below to see the details: ↓
We will guarantee and reserve your top 2 favorite outfits out of the 4 in advance.
(Please note that holding 2 outfits free of charge is already an exclusive exception that we do not offer to other clients🤫✨)
For the remaining 2 outfits, you will choose from the available selection in the studio on the day of your fitting/shoot.
(such as traditional Shiromuku, colored Irouchikake, or other lace kimonos depending on schedule availability)
Standard rescheduling and cancellation policy will apply.
We will guarantee and reserve all 4 of your selected outfits exclusively for you in advance.
As the total amount exceeds 1,000,000 yen, and furthermore, we will be declining booking requests from other guests for the four popular costumes, we respectfully request an advance deposit as outlined below:
The details are as follows:
・Deposit Amount: 15% of the total amount
*Please be assured that this 15% will be applied directly to your final total amount and is not an additional fee.
[Cancellation Policy]
In the event that the shoot is canceled due to customer circumstances, the paid deposit (15%) will be applied as the cancellation fee.
[Rescheduling Policy]
If you wish to postpone the shoot, a rescheduling fee will be calculated according to the timing of your request. Please note that the rescheduling fee will not exceed the amount of your paid deposit (15% of the total amount).
Our goal is to minimize your physical burden while making sure your dream photo shoot becomes a reality.
Please take your time to review these details, and let us know which plan feels right for you.
We truly look forward to hearing from you!
Warm regards,
Arikawa
Representative, Eggfilm
